Nars At First Sight Palette

NARS At First Sight Palette £32

Whilst innocently browsing the beauty section of ASOS one week night, I came across this limited edition cheek and eye palette from NARS. I have been wanting to get my hands on one of the NARS bronzer and blusher duos for a while, so when I saw this little offering for only £2 more, I added it to my basket straight away.

This palette includes a blusher, a bronzer and four bestselling eye shadows:

Deep Throat Blusher:
This is a sheer peach blusher with a definite hint of pink. It has a subtle shimmer running through it which gives the cheeks a beautiful glow. The colour applies lightly, but is easily buildable so that you can achieve the colour intensity that you like. This is a very wearable blusher and is perfect for everyday.

Laguna Bronzer: This iconic bronzer is perfect for contouring or adding all over warmth to the face. It has a slight shimmer running through it, but still gives the skin a natural, sun kissed glow.

All About Eve Eye Shadow: A neutral eye shadow with a slight shimmer.

Nouveau Monde Eye Shadow:
A pretty, metallic-lilac shade.

Bellissima Eye Shadow:
A matte grey-brown eye shadow.

Cordura Eye Shadow: A shimmering, dark sooty-brown shade.

This palette is actually my first ever purchase from NARS. After testing it out for the past couple of weeks, I have to say that I am very impressed with the product quality. The eye shadows are highly pigmented, blend beautifully and have excellent lasting power. The bronzer and blusher are truly stunning, and I have defiantly fallen for all of the hype surrounding these products in the beauty world. The packaging is luxurious and sturdy, and there is a big mirror inside which makes it great for on-the-go application. This palette would be perfect for travelling as all of the shades are very wearable, would suit all skin tones, and you would essentially have half of your makeup in one handy, compact place.

This limited edition palette retails at £45 on the NARS website. There are still some left in stock on ASOS, so if you're quick enough you might be able to get your hands on one for a fraction of the price.
